Portrait –
Björn was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1972. After taking a long break to travel, he decided to pursue a career in the film and media industry. His first stop was at Dschoint Ventschr in Zurich, working for Samir. He later moved on first to a local TV station and then to a Music Channel. After that, he studied camera in Munich for one year before returning to Zurich.
Since 2005, he has been self-employed, working on filmsets, corporate productions, documentaries, TV shows, live sports, and ENG.
In 2025, he produced his first documentary film, which was nominated at several festivals.
Work Experience –
Since 2004 in Film & Media business. Worked first as 2nd AC, 1st AC, and then as DOP.
