1. Purpose of the Platform

This platform aims to provide visibility and networking opportunities for professional cinematographers who are based in Switzerland. Use of the platform is free of charge. Access is granted by invitation, personal recommendation or internet search.

2. Eligibility

Applicants must:

• reside in Switzerland,
• have at least six years of relevant professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Broadcast, Corporate, Event, Film, Streaming, Television,
• have worked active in the declared field(s).

3. Review and Publication Process

All submitted profiles are reviewed manually by an independent committee of three experienced professionals. Publication is only granted if the submission meets the platforms criteria and is deemed convincing in quality and relevance. Submissions that do not meet the requirements may be rejected and deleted without notice. There is no entitlement to publication.

4. Permitted Content

Participants may only upload content they own the rights to (such as their own texts, images, videos, PDFs or links). Content must clearly relate to the participants professional activities. Commercial content is only allowed if it serves self-promotion (e. g. showreels, demo material). We do not assume liability for embedded or linked third-party content (e. g. YouTube, Vimeo, external websites).

5. Liability and Responsibility

Each registered person is solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their submitted content. This includes details such as education, experience, availability and image rights. The platform does not assume liability for any profile content or for any contracts or work agreements resulting from the use of this platform. Intentional false statements will result in immediate deletion and may lead to permanent exclusion.

6. User Obligations

• All information must be truthful, factually correct and up to date.
• Profile photo not older than five years.
• The profile text must be personal, stylistically appealing and grammatically correct.
• Any significant changes (e. g. production type(s), specialized field(s), change of residence, availability) require a new registration by retype and re-upload all your data.

7. Profile Deletion

Profiles can be deleted upon request of the registered person. The committee also reserves the right to remove entries at any time in case of violations or if a profile is not approved during the review process. There is no right to publication or permanent inclusion nor the submitted data to be backed up by the platform and holder of the domain “cinematographers.ch”. It is highly recommended to store all data by the registering person themselves.

8. Email

By registering on this platform, you agree that we may contact you via email in relation to your profile and the use of this service. This includes messages concerning the registration process, updates to your entry, technical issues or general information relevant to the platform. These messages do not constitute advertising or newsletters but are essential for the functioning and administration of the platform. Your contact details will not be shared or used for commercial purposes.
