Portrait –
I’m a Swiss-Italian cinematographer with over twenty years of experience. Born in Italy with roots in Sardinia and Appenzell, I’m based in Lausanne.
I trained in cinematography at the Civica Scuola di Cinema in Milan. Over the years I’ve worked across genres and formats — narrative, documentary, commercial, short and feature-length. Beyond shooting, I’ve also directed and taught filmmaking. I love telling stories by looking at the world through lenses and perspectives, and shaping it with light.
Work Experience –
As cinematographer, I shot Ferite, I passi leggeri and La guarigione — all directed by Vittorio Rifranti, released theatrically and on DVD. La guarigione received multiple awards. I also photographed O sei uomo o sei donna... Chiaro? by Enrico Vanni and Mother Loves You directed by Giovanni Jussi, an international co-production between Switzerland, Austria and Italy blending theatre and cinema.
