Portrait –
My name is Marco Schwarz, and I work as a producer, cinematographer, writer, and director. I oversee projects from the initial concept through to completion, taking full responsibility for the concept, production, and content.
Born in Samedan, I began my professional career as an electrician and discovered my passion for filmmaking at an early age. After an internship at Somedia AG, I completed camera training at SRF and RTR in 2008.
From 2008 to 2014, I worked as a freelance cameraman before founding Moviemaint GmbH in 2014.
I am constantly furthering my education and have earned regional recognition for my work. For the MySports hockey series, my team and I were awarded Best Documentary at the “Stockholm City Film Festival”, and we also received additional international nominations.
Today, I lead Moviemaint GmbH with the goal of creating visually striking and high-quality productions.
