Portrait –

Timon Rupp is a cinematographer and editor specialising in documentary filmmaking, music videos and commercials. His visual approach is defined by authentic moments, natural light and a clean, cinematic aesthetic. As an editor, he complements his work behind the camera with a strong sense of rhythm, emotion and narrative structure.

He works across documentary films for television and cinema, develops visual concepts for brands, and creates music videos with a cinematic approach. Combining cinematography and editing allows him to shape the narrative from the earliest stages of production, bringing both creative and technical continuity from set to final cut.

Based in Switzerland, Timon works on productions both nationally and internationally.

Education –

Working as a freelance cinematographer and editor since 2008, Timon Rupp studied Video at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), where he received his Bachelor's degree in 2012.
