Portrait –
After working for several years as an editor and motion graphics artist, Philipp Künzli studied cinematography at the Los Angeles Film School. Upon graduating in 2009 with honors in cinematography, he returned to Switzerland and worked on various documentary films. In 2011, he received the Canton of Solothurn's "Werkjahr Preis für Fotografie". Four years later, he moved to Germany and completed a postgraduate program in film and media arts at the Cologne International School of Media Arts while continuing to work professionally. In 2020, he received the Canton of Solothurn's "Kultur Preis für Kamera". Today, Philipp Künzli lives in Bern and works as a cinematographer and photographer in Switzerland and Germany.
