Portrait –
I am a cinematographer with over two decades of experience, starting my career in 2003 with Ramattan News Agency in Gaza. There, I honed my skills in war reporting, capturing complex and often dangerous environments with a focus on authenticity and impact.
As my career progressed, I expanded into documentary and feature filmmaking, with a hands-on, collaborative approach that ensures every project is driven by a deep understanding of both the subject matter and the visual narrative.
My work earned recognition in 2016 when I received the Best Cinematography Award at the Dhaka International Film Festival for Sahra 2014. Since 2018, I have been working with ARTTV in Zurich, where I focus on cultural programming, bringing visual depth to Swiss artistic and cultural coverage.
Whether in the field or in the studio, my goal is always to tell compelling stories that resonate with audiences, using cinematography to create a lasting emotional connection.
